Product Description
Collagen Membranes are resorbable, cell-occlusive barrier membranes. Engineered from highly purified type I collagen fibers to provide an increased resorption period and ensure optimal bone regeneration.
Benefits:
- Guides healing of bone and surrounding tissue.
- Predictable resorption time (26-38 weeks.)
- Cell occlusive, designed to retard and/or prevent epithelium down growth.
- Unique fiber orientation to provide high tensile strength for in situ stability of membrane.
- Easy to use, allows for either side to be placed against the site.
Why RCM Membranes are recommended in GBR
- Collagen is biocompatible with oral tissues.
- Collagen is an active hemostatic agent.
- Collagen possesses the ability to stimulate platelet aggregate for better healing.
- It excludes unwanted cells that interfere with bone healing.
- Provides stabilization for the treatment site.
- Remains for six months.
